Our Court participated in the statewide awareness campaign “Wear Blue” on April 9th to show support for Child Abuse Prevention month.
Every day, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) help children replace their world of fear and uncertainty with one of hope. A CASA volunteer’s mission is to ensure all abused, neglected and dependent children have a safe, permanent home in which they can thrive.
After undergoing nearly 40 hours of pre-service training, including in-person classes and online instruction, as well as courtroom observations, CASA volunteers are appointed to provide a voice in court for the children they represent. On February 22, 2024, Warren County Juvenile Court Judge Joseph Kirby administrated oaths to four new Court Appointed Special Advocates. Congratulations to the new advocates!!

Judge Joseph Kirby presented a proclamation at the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ Open House on March 5, 2024 declaring March Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The event hosted guest speakers and a great choir performance.
Youth who are involved with the Warren County Juvenile Court are afforded the opportunity to complete community service hours with our community. Partnerships have been established with willing and generous organizations throughout Warren and adjacent counties. Building relationships with members of the community is one of the many benefits gained from this work.
The collaboration appears to be positively resonating with all involved! Youth involved with our Court participated in 137 scheduled community service events in 2023. Collectively, the youth completed 357 hours while under Court staff supervision. Other hours were independently completed by youth. Service locations included: Lebanon, Franklin, Mason, Waynesville, Carlisle, Harveysburg, Morrow, South Lebanon, Springboro, Maineville, Landen, Corwin, Loveland, Sharonville, and Blue Ash.
